ARC has provided research services for a variety of national conservation projects conducted by D.J. Case & Associates: Indiana Deer Hunter Survey, High Plains Landowner Survey, Conservation Reserve Program Survey, South Carolina Hunter Survey, Texas Dove Hunter Survey, and both National and Central Flyway Duck Hunter surveys.

  • Reviewed/edited survey items;
  • Designed complementary web and paper surveys;
  • Designed and printed post cards, cover letters, envelopes, and surveys;
  • Barcoded surveys for individualized tracking;
  • Scrubbed mailing lists to assure current addresses;

Digital Audio Version Survey: The Missouri Review (a literary magazine)

ARC developed and conducted a web survey of Missouri Review subscribers to explore audience opinion regarding a digital audio format for the literary journal.

End-of-Life Survey: Faculty in the Department of Family and Community Medicine, University of Missouri

ARC conducted a confidential, paper-and-pencil survey of physicians to ascertain opinions and practices involving the roles physicians play in end-of-life decisions made by their patients.

  • Interviewed physicians;
  • Reviewed and revised earlier surveys;
  • Assisted with IRB approval process;
  • Designed and administered a paper-and-pencil survey;
  • Tracked respondents to administer multiple survey waves;
  • Maintained strict confidentiality;

Tour of Missouri Survey: Faculty in Agricultural Economics, University of Missouri

ARC assisted client with scannable survey design to assess economic impact of observers of the Tour of Missouri Bike Race.

Confidential Economic Survey: Missouri Bar Association

ARC conducted a confidential biennial web and paper survey of Missouri Bar members regarding their income and workplace characteristics.

  • Administered web survey to respondents:
    • Initial wave to full sample;

Ten Toe Express Survey: Transtria and Citizens for Modern Transit

ARC designed and printed pre- and post-surveys of older adults and commuters for the Citizens for Modern Transit's Ten Toe Express program, which is aimed at promoting healthier lifestyles in the St. Louis metropolitan area.

Evaluation of Teacher Professional Development Projects: Faculty in the College of Education, University of Missouri

ARC assists faculty from departments within the College of Education to evaluate professional development programs.

  • Designed, maintained, and updated six web surveys over seven cohorts;
  • Reviewed, edited, designed paper surveys for pilot project and two subsequent years;
  • Tracked survey respondents and submitted regular tracking forms to clients;
  • Prepared annual datasets in SPSS.

Customer satisfaction and work environment surveys: a variety of administrative offices within the University of Missouri

ARC has designed and administered custom surveys to assess customer satisfaction or work environment satisfaction with numerous departments and programs within the University of Missouri, including Finance and Administration, Institutional Research and Planning, Academic Affairs, the Controller, Information Technology, and Risk and Insurance Management.
