Program EvaluationsAssessment of the Interstate Placement of Foster Children Process: Missouri Office of State Courts AdministratorARC assessed the process for the Interstate Placement of Foster Children to meet the requirements for the basic Court Improvement Program grant for the Office of State Courts Administrator (OSCA). In order to describe current law and practice and to identify barriers to safe and timely placements, OSCA and ARC collaborated on a design that included a variety of research methods.
District eMINTS Program Evaluations: Fulton 58 School District & New Franklin R-1 School DistrictFor each school district, ARC conducted a two-year evaluation of the impact of the eMINTS (enhancing Missouri's Instructional Networked Teaching Strategies) program on student achievement and technology skills; and on teacher skills in technology use and inquiry-based instructional practices. In addition, the Fulton 58 School District requested information on student growth in global awareness and life goals while the New Franklin R-I School district requested information on parental involvement in their three elementary buildings.
Statewide Evaluation of Missouri's 2007-2009 eMINTS/METS Program: eMINTS National CenterARC is conducting an evaluation of Missouri's 2007-2009 eMINTS/METS Classroom Grant Program to assess the impact of the eMINTS (enhancing Missouri's Instructional Networked Teaching Strategies) program on both student attitudes toward math, technology, and science and student achievement in math and science. Teachers were assessed on their classroom use of technology and inquiry-based teaching techniques.
Statewide Cooperative EdD Program in Educational Leadership: Faculty in the College of Education, University of MissouriARC is evaluating a collaborative program of partner universities through surveys of current students and program alumni on a biennial basis. An additional Ten-Year Comprehensive Report comparing cohorts was delivered in November 2008.
