Colleges and Universities Nationwide

College BASE is a standardized general education exam developed by the Assessment Resource Center covering English, math, science, and social studies. College BASE is used for teacher education candidates and campus-wide institutional assessment at over 135 colleges and universities, with approximately 25,000 individual tests administered annually. College BASE helps academic institutions ensure that their students have competency in general education skills.

ARC provides a broad spectrum of assessment services for College BASE, including

  • Developing a new form of the exam each year;
  • Printing the exam and answer sheets;
  • Marketing and distributing the exam nationwide;
  • Scanning, scoring, and reporting results to individuals and schools;
  • Assisting schools with administration questions and interpretation of results.
